More two-step bird

After I bought my own two-step bird punch I started looking up ideas on line. I could not believe some of the creative things people come up with. Here is my take from some of the ideas I saw

My Father in Law loves Monkeys so I used my monkey stamp and placed them on the branches punched from the two-step bird punch.

This is my Mother in Laws birthday card. I made the tulips from the birds wing and the tulip leaves are the birds wings as well just on different colored card stock. All the paper is old Stampin Up! paper. And the ribbon is from a dollar bin at Micheals. This is the greatest punch ever!!!!

Beautiful Birds

A couple of weeks ago when I was visiting my neighbor ( she's a very gifted crafter! ) she showed me the lastest cards she made. When I saw the cards all I could think of was my Mother in Law would LOVE these. They are the cutest cards I had seen in a long time. So I had to make them for her for her birthday!

A woodpecker. This was to only card I used a background stamp on. I just thought her needed to look like he was sitting on a tree.

A Chickadee

A Cardinal

A blue Jay

A Goldfinch

All of these cards used one punch. Can you believe it? I used the two-step bird punch from Stampin Up! Some of the cards like the Cardinal you need to punch it several times then piece it all together but other cards like the Goldfinch (my favorite bird) you only punch twice once on yellow and once on black. Then I used chalks to shad the areas I wanted. My Mother in Law loved her cards and I loved making and giving them to her as well! Thanks for looking!
