EBTKS Challenge Buttons

Well I'm getting ready to leave on vacation tomorrow (yipeeee) but I had made a few cards for some challenges. EBTKS always has great challenges and this one is one of the best. I love buttons! Head over and check it out. Lot's of inspiration!

My card.

All supplies are Stampin Up! except the button. I found the button at my local craft store. I have been dying to use it! I'd love to hear what you think.

Embellish with birds

I was really excited when I saw this challenge. I was looking for an excuse to use my two step bird punch again. I just love how cute these birds are. Go check out Embellish Magazine to see some more great entry's.

I really like the way pink, green and brown look together. These are colors I'm drawn to often. Here's my take on the challenge.

A close up of the details on the bird.
All supplies are Stampin Up! except for the button.

Colour Q #44

Over a Colour Q they have another great color challenge. I think the Poppy color is my new favorite! The blue adds an unexpected touch. Head over to Colour Q and take a look at all the great cards.

So here is my card,

The paper and the sentiment stamp are Stampin Up! The ric rac I found it at my local craft store. I found the button in my laundry room. I'm guessing it was from a shirt or dress I own. I'd love to hear what you think.

Tuesday Trigger

I was really inspired by this weeks Tuesday Trigger photo. My family is leaving for our annual trip to the Ocean in a couple of days so the timing was perfect! Go check it out, you still have time to play along. Here's the photo,

I really love sea shells so when Stampin Up ! released these sea shell stamps a couple years ago I had to have them.

All my supplies have again come from Stampin Up! I used Crumb Cake, Sage Shadow and Vanilla paper. I used my ink roller on the background card stock to look like sand. The shells are stamped with Crumb Cake ink on Crumb Cake paper then I used my pastels in coral and blue to give the shells dimension. I used my wave crimper on the Sage Shadow paper then brushed Sage Shadow ink on the raised paper to look like waves. I cut out a tag then distressed it with Crumb Cake ink and added a satin bow. I'd love to hear what you think.
