Spring Break on Maui
Aloha!! We spent spring break on Maui! What a great time. The weather was fantastic! It was 80 degrees with a light breeze every day! Here's a couple pictures (I'll share more later) with a few of the highlights.
My sweet daughters waiting to get on the plane! They both love to fly.

tcptues147 challenge
I saw this challenge on one of the blogs I follow and I knew I had to play along. I love these colors together. They have a bit of a spring feeling to them, and I am pretty excited for spring.
Here's my card:
My pictures didn't turn out as well as I would have liked but I hope you can still see most of the details. The image is from TCP. She is colored with copics but her scarf I paper pierced. The papers are retired Stampin Up! and the flowers are crocheted with a corduroy brad in the center, also Stampin Up! I added a little glitter to the steam of her coffee.

Get Well
I made this card for my Mother in law. She has been under the weather for a couple of days. I hope this card lifted her spirits.
I'm just starting to learn how to color with the copics. I think I may sign up for the beginners class at my local craft store. The coloring looked better in person it looks a bit blotchy in the photo. I'd love to hear any ideas on how to use my copics better.
Here's the whole card.

To my hubby
Good luck cards
I just wanted to share a couple of cards I made for my daughters last week. Both girls had spelling tests on Thursday so I wished them luck buy surprising them with a card in their lunch boxes.
My oldest daughters favorite colors are purple and blue. So her card was made using purple and blue papers.
My youngest daughter likes pink and green so her card was made with pink and green.

Grey IS the new black
I sure have been wearing more grey than I used to. It works as a neutral yet not as dark. When you live in the northwest I think you will try almost anything to brighten your day :D
So I saw this challenge and had to play along. Lots of beautiful cards. Head over and check them out.
