More Celebrations!!

Angela kept her party hat on all weekend! She had a soccer game on Sunday (her actual birthday) so we volunteered to bring snack. I thought it would be fun to make something soccer related.

I made the cookies using a Wilton cookie pan. The cookies were very big and used a lot of sugar cookie dough, luckily I only had to make 7 of them. I made some royal icing for the white parts then tinted the remaining icing black and piped it on to create the soccer ball. I put them in treat bags and tied it with some soccer ball ribbon. I thought they turned out really cute and all the girls said they were YUMMY!!!!

Thanks for looking! I'd love to know what you think.

Happy Birthday Angela

I can't believe my baby turned 8 over then weekend. She had such a fun day. Luckily the rain stayed away long enough to enjoy her carnival games outside. Happy Birthday Angela!!

So both my daughters love to help me in my craft room especially when it is for one of their party's. The girls did ALL the coloring on the stamped images for the cupcake toppers. I did all the gluing with the glue gun. I used the Stampin Up! set Under the Big Top for the images. The papers are also SU. We also made a banner to decorate for her party but I need to take some pictures so I will share that later.

A close up off the clown image.

On the cupcakes.

Thought I would share a couple pictures of her party.

Angela and her friend Arleigh.

Make a wish!!!!

Last but not least a picture of my niece Ravenna and her lollipop! Isn't she the cutest!

First day of school

Yesterday was my both my girls first day of school. My oldest started 5th grade and my youngest started 2nd grade. The day was bittersweet for me. The summer went by so fast I just wasn't ready for them to start school. I missed them like crazy so I thought I would make a little treat for them. I saw these cute cookies in a magazine so I tried it. They turned out pretty cute. They looked better in person, the picture makes the candy coating look wavy. But the girls (and their daddy) loved them.

Both wanted to pick some "rainbow" flowers for their teachers. Aren't they so sweet!
